Israel’s spies are absolutely insane. Israel didn’t intercept Hezbollah’s pagers and alter them, they actually set up an entire fake company that produced the pagers instead. The company was named B.A.C. consulting and was based in Hungary. They produced pagers under contract with a Taiwanese company. They made and sold a variety of pagers to regular customers for over two years. But only one client actually mattered: Hezbollah. As early as 2022, Hezbollah began ordering pagers from them which were laced with explosives. As we said yesterday, they put explosives in the battery. This is reportedly new technology that they had been working on for awhile. Israel then spread word among the group that they had completely hacked them and could listen to them through their phone's microphone and could read all of their texts. This led Hezbollah to ban cell phones, buy more of these pagers in bulk, and ordered their fighters to not leave home without the pagers. And then they exploded.
