Have Blue was a F-117 Nighthawk prototype stealth aircraft developed in the late 1970s as part of the United States Air Force's stealth technology program. The Have Blue program was the precursor to the F-117 Nighthawk, and its design and technology provided the foundation for the development of the F-117. Have Blue was built in secrecy and was the first stealth aircraft to be tested by the United States. The success of the Have Blue program marked a major milestone in the development of stealth technology and set the stage for the development of future stealth aircraft.
