Each room is conveniently located adjacent to the mid-aft elevator bank and can accommodate up to 8 passengers.

The lounge room is spacious, with a large sofa that converts to a double sofa bed. The room’s corner location means there are both forward facing and sideview windows.

A Lavazza coffee machine is a perk of the suite, and it includes coffee pods which are resupplied as needed. An electric kettle is available on request. There is a bar fridge, plus additional deep set drawers for extra storage. There are a range of US and European power outlets within the room, but there are no Australian outlets. As always, for Australians I recommend a European adaptor for higher consumption appliances like hairdryers.

Near the room’s entrance you’ll find the second bedroom. The room is fairly spacious. There’s a single US power outlet on one side of the bed. The room also has its own flat screen television as well as its own air conditioning temperature control panel. An opaque window with roller blind allows some natural light to enter the room. The vanity offers additional US and EU style power outlets. The wardrobe in on the smaller side, though there’s additional storage outside which we’ll see in a moment. This bedroom alone can accommodate up to 4 guests, with two ceiling mounted pullman beds, and two single beds that can convert to a Royal King.

There’s ample storage in the suite, with a walk-in wardrobe located next to the front door also providing enough space for someone to dress in privacy.

The main bathroom is more or less identical to those found in regular staterooms onboard. There’s a vanity with basin, as well as a shower with a regular shower head and glass shower door. There are also upgraded bathroom toiletries in the form of shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

Walking towards the balcony, you’ll find the entrance to the main bedroom. This room can accommodate two passengers in either a Royal King bed or two singles. There are no power outlets on this side of the bed. There are plenty of storage spaces throughout the room. The window of the main bedroom looks out onto the expensive balcony, which we’ll see soon. There is no direct access to the balcony.

There is a large flat screen television, plus additional storage in the form of very deep soft-close drawers and a cupboard with shelves.

There is one US power outlet on this side of the bed. An additional wardrobe area contains a safe.

In the room, you’ll also find a well-lit vanity. It has additional US, EU and USB-A outlets, plus a jewellery box.

The second bathroom in this suite is accessed via the main bedroom. It contains a vanity and basin area. Unfortunately, there is no freestanding shower in this bathroom. Instead, it’s positioned over the full size bathtub. The same upgraded amenities are also available in this bathroom. Because of the design of the bathtub, I found the shower very tight and honestly preferred the freestanding shower in the regular bathroom.

The humongous balcony is accessed via the living room. There is a dining table with 4 chairs, which is the perfect place to enjoy room service from the main dining room menu - another perk of this suite type.

Upgraded padded furniture adds a touch of luxury, and for something unique, you can access the forward, angled part of the balcony which gives you an incredible view over the side of the ship. The white balcony can be closed for added privacy, or if it’s particularly windy.

This suite offers a fantastic home base for groups of family or friends, plus with the added perks of Sky Class, it can be a compelling value proposition.
