Films bring disparate people together and help them bond with each other, said the Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan at the opening of the 42nd edition of the International Film Festival of India at the Ravindra Bhavan in Margao on Wednesday evening in the presence of Union minister of information and broadcasting Ambika Soni, chief minister Digambar Kamat and other dignitaries. The opening ceremony was followed by the screening of Portuguese film 'The Consul of Bordeaux' directed by Francisco Manso and Joao Correa was screened.
