Fezolinetant è una terapia non ormonale, primo di una nuova classe di farmaci, per ridurre i sintomi vasomotori (VMS) da moderati a gravi associati alla menopausa.
A livello globale, più della metà delle donne in menopausa sperimenta VMS, con tassi in Europa che vanno dal 56% al 97%.
La prevalenza di VMS da moderati a gravi nelle donne in postmenopausa in Europa è stata riportata al 40%.
