Born in Baiya village of Jaisalmer district, Anwar Khan Manganiyar of Rajasthani folk group Divana, is a recipient of Padma Shri and Sangeet Natak Akademi Award. He now resides in Barmer and is the leading voice of the Manganiyar community and traditional music of western Rajasthan.
