साबढाणा
Sabudana vada, also called 'sabu vada', is a
traditional deep fried fritter from Maharashtra,
India. It is often served with spicy green chutney
and along with hot chai and is best eaten fresh.
In other parts of the country, Sabudana vada are
the best option to have when fasting. It's usually
during religious festivals and during
fast/vrat/upvaas especially in Navratri vrats. Like
all vadas, these are best eaten fresh. Sabudana
vadas are crunchy and "melt in the mouth."
Ingredients List:
Tapioca (साबूदाना) - 1.5 cup
Fresh Coriander Leaves (हरा धनिया)
Green Chilli (हरी मिर्च ) - 2to3
Cumin Seeds (जीरा) - 1/2 tsp
Grated Garlic
Fresh Curd (दही) - 1 tbsp
Rock Salt (सेंधा नमक) - 1 tsp
Chopped Green Chilli (हरी मिर्च) - 2 to 3
Coarse Peanut (दरदरी मूंगफली ) - 1/2 cup
Rock Salt as per taste (सेंधा नमक)
Cumin Seeds (जीरा) - 1/2 tsp
Boiled Potato (उबले हुए आलू ) - 3
