www.isterilizer.com presents this video to show how to fix Midmark Autoclaves, Ultraclave, Ritter Sterilizers. M9 and M11.
Both M9 and M11 are very similar, they share same technical service manual. The most difference is just the chamber size. One is 9 inch diameter, one is 11 inch diameter. Of course, the inside trays and rack are different. However, their control system are same, most parts are exchangeable.
The critical clue to fix Midmark Ritter autoclaves is the Error code, which will show up on its LED display each time, when the machine failed. It is in the format of letter C followed by 3 digital numbers. The first one tells you WHERE, door, sensor, thermostat, stop button, etc. The second number tells you WHAT of status, Too high, too low, sensor open, closed, etc. The last number tells you WHEN, at which mode, the problem happened, such as: Fill water, Heating mode, Sterilizing mode, Drying mode, etc.
