Three fires in Australia have now combined to form a single blaze bigger than the New York borough of Manhattan and the country is bracing for what is predicted to be the most catastrophic day yet this bushfire season.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced he's mobilizing its largest navy ship to evacuate citizens along the southeast coastline and deploying up to three-thousand troops in affected areas as authorities try to rescue stranded residents by boat.
