I myself have moved around quite a bit. Before considering to move somewhere, it is almost always essential to know what it costs to live there. Therefore I have examined the cost of living (where I currently live) in Malaga, Costa del Sol, Spain. Specifically, I live in a town around 10 km from the center of Malaga named Torremolinos. A very sunny area of Europe!
I spend a total of 1,162 € on average over the past 12 months. In dollars, that is around 1,390 $.
I explain the following categories:
Housing cost (in my case mortgage + utilities, community fee, property tax etc)
