Grand Metropolitan International Music Competition is an online music competition which aims to provide an opportunity for developing musicians to perform in a formal, challenging yet supportive atmosphere. The goal is to provide young musicians a forum to challenge themselves musically, and to share their music.
We believe that music transcends all boundaries. Our competition therefore, welcomes participants of all ages, levels, and all instruments to submit their videos online. The Grand Metropolitan International Music Competition is suitable for first time competitors, amateurs, as well as advanced music students and seasoned professionals.
The way we structure the evaluation of our competition allows fair and meaningful competition amongst participants. Our competition is divided into categories that reflect the age, level, experience, and duration of study for participants. This ensures that evaluation of participants are premised upon a reasonable baseline.
