Music's biggest night in the UK happened yesterday at Buckingham Palace to celebrate her majesty the Queen's 60 years on the throne. Hey guys, welcome back to ClevverMusic. Queen Elizabeth II celebrated her 60 years on the throne yesterday June 4 at Buckingham Palace in the heart of London with the Diamond Jubilee- a concert where 100's of musicians took the stage with thousands of proud fans waving their British flags.
Legendary musicians came out to perform and help the Queen celebrate, including: legend Sir Elton John, Paul McCartney, Annie Lennox, and Stevie Wonder who dedicated 'Isn't She Lovely' to the 86-year-old Queen.
Young pop stars also made an appearance at the Jubilee, which took place on a custom built stage for the live show, which included: Jessie J singing with will.i.am, Cheryl Cole and Gary Barlow doing a Lady Antebellum duet 'Need You Now,' Kylie Minogue, and Robbie Williams who opened the show.
The Queen even had an official Diamond Jubilee composition performed, "Sing" where over 200 musicians took the stage for the dedication.
