In this Blender tutorial I will show you how to speed up your blender renders using a free GPU on Google Colab. Google Colab is an online Jupyter notebook service for running python code and google provides users with free GPUs and TPUs which can be used for rendering Blender files very quickly.
In this tutorial I will show you in a few, very easy steps how to write the code that you will need in order to render your blender files on the cloud. Once the code is written, it is a simple process of just uploading your blend file to Google Drive and running the script.
In the video, I perform a simple speed comparison and show that Google Colab decreased my render times by about 9 times!
