You might not have to do one of these tests
BUT more and more companies seem to be using them as part of the screening process.
Some like the Plum test are more like personality tests.
They assess your tendencies as the group is looking for a type of person to join them.
Some are general knowledge aptitude tests
Although they say “you cannot study for these assessments”, in my experience you can study for HOW these assessments provide their questions.
Different companies use different assessment platforms so do some googling and practice some of the samples that are out there.
Many companies provide free samples on their websites so make sure you do your research and your practice
Some questions are math based, some are logic based, some are comprehension based or just general knowledge based
Testing platforms will often have the bank of thousands of questions, so it’s too much for you to know everything,
BUT practice can help familiarize yourself with the types of questions asked and for you to practice how to answer questions, and how to maximize your results to learn the next stage of interviews.
