Teacher training is tough! In this video I share my advice for your teaching placements based on my experience of being a mentor for student teachers. I discuss time management tips, ways to work effectively alongside your mentor, information on lesson planning, how to turn lesson feedback into a positive experience, how to organise your evidence file (teacher standards) how to prepare effective lesson resources and even share my own experience as being a mentor. I hope this video will be useful for anyone who is starting their teacher training soon, or is about to start a teaching placement.
