Nefertiti was a legendary Egyptian Queen. She was the Great Royal Wife of Pharaoh Akhenaten who ruled Egypt from 1370-1330 BC. Nefertiti in English means 'A beautiful woman has come'.
The Nefertiti is owned and operated by Kerala Shipping and Inland Navigation Corporation Ltd (KSINC). It paves way for KSINC to be the trailblazer of Kerala’s waterway tourism initiative. The vessel has permission for cruising up to 12 nautical miles to the outer sea. The cruise trips are generally scheduled for 3 to 5 hours and can be also customized according to the customer's requirement, if the vessel is taken for rent. It has the capacity to hold 200 passengers. The ship is designed for hosting destination parties, receptions, corporate events, product launches, meetings, get-togethers, etc. in the sea.
