KSRTC (Kerala State Road Transport Corporation) conducts many low-budget tailor-made sightseeing trips from different depots in Kerala. This particular trip starts at 06:30 AM in the morning from Pala depot. This one-day trip covers Inchathotty Hanging Bridge, Bhootatahnkettu Dam & forest walk, Perumbankuthu Waterfalls, a long journey through the Mamalakandam forest area, Aanakkulam and Lechmi Estate, and would return to the depot at around 11:30 PM. This trip cost you Rs. 750 (including lunch).
Inchathotty Hanging Bridge - This is one of the longest-hanging bridges in Kerala.
Bhoothatahnkettu old dam, forest walk, and bridge - A refreshing walk through the forest.
Mamalakandam is a village inside the forest. Lots of waterfalls, streams and the lavish greenery around are the highlights of this journey.
Mamalakandam School - We can see scenic mountains and waterfalls at the backdrop of the school.
Perumbankuthu Waterfalls - The fall is surrounded by bamboo forests on one side and cacao, rubber, and spice plantations on the other.
Anakulam ( Elephants Pond) - Elephants come here to drink water in groups of 30 or more.
Lechmi Estate - Beautiful Tea gardens near Munnar.
It is a very enjoyable and comfortable trip. Got enough time to spend at each point.
