Winter in Lviv, Urkaine can be cold. The city of Lviv is beautiful any time of year with it's Austro Hungarian architecture, plethora of churches, open squares and statues. Lviv has a very unique history and very welcoming population. They have a love for chocolate and coffee that has carried over from when it was part of the Austro Hungarian Empire.
Lviv is in western Ukraine up close the the border with Poland. It is a wonderful place to visit any time of the year.
