's Werelds eerste ‘Circular Beach Sport Event' is een feit en dit is de aftermovie! Wanneer weet je dat deelnemer bent van een Circular Beach Sport Event? Je bent sportief bezig, het is goed voor de natuur, je brengt het begrip circulariteit in de praktijk en last but not least: het is buiten én gezelligheid met elkaar!

Circular Beach Sport Event is een gezamenlijk initiatief van drie nieuwe strandsporten: Beachaton, PlogSack en PULLKA. Naast de fysieke uitdaging kan je met deze sporten ook de natuurlijke omgeving positief veranderen. Je bent actief en energiek bezig op het strand en tegelijkertijd draag je bij aan een schonere leefomgeving door zwerfafval op te ruimen van het strand en het indirect stimuleren van visnetten recyclen.

Circular Beach Sport Events worden georganiseerd door PULLKA, PlogSack en Plastic Playgrounds. Deze eerste editie op Scheveningen was mede mogelijk dankzij de Green Deal Schone Stranden en was in samenwerking met TrashUre Hunt en Sick Plastic. Na alle nieuwe strandsporten en een sportief-artistieke finale waren we bij deze eerste editie voor de prijsuitreiking welkom bij The Shore: één van de meest duurzame strandtenten van Nederland! Onder het genot van een drankje deelden de mensen van The Shore hun drive om de kust te verduurzamen. Met oog op de ondergaande zon brachten we een toast uit op een circulaire toekomst.

World’s first 'Circulair Beach Sport Event' is a fact and this is the aftermovie! What are the main features of this event? Well, you’re active with brand new sports, it’s good for the environment, you put the concept of circularity into practice and last but not least: it is outdoors and socializing together!
Circular Beach Sport Event is a joint initiative of three new beach sports: Beachaton, PlogSack and PULLKA. In addition to the physical challenge, you can also positively change the natural environment with these sports. You are active and energetic on the beach and at the same time you contribute to a cleaner living environment by cleaning up litter from the beach and indirectly encouraging the recycling of fishing nets.
The Circular Beach Sport Event was and is organized by PlogSack, Plastic Playgrounds (beachaton) and De Natuursportschool (PULLKA). This first edition at Scheveningen was made possible thanks to the Clean Beaches Green Deal and was in collaboration with TrashUre Hunt and Sick Plastic. After all the new beach sports and a sporty-artistic final, we were welcome at The Shore at this first edition for the award ceremony: one of the most sustainable beach clubs in the Netherlands! While enjoying a drink, the people of The Shore shared their drive to make the coast more sustainable. With an eye on the sunset, we toast to a circular future.
