MAJOR EARTHQUAKE HITS NEAR JAMAICA CAYMAN ISLANDS AS CRUISE SHIPS OFFLOAD PASSENGERS A powerful 7.7 earthquake struck the Caribbean this morning between Jamaica, Cuba and the Cayman Islands. Cruise ships were in port in Jamaica and just off shore tendering passengers onto land as the event occured. In the Cayman Islands, the Port Authority suspended all tendering services on to the island until a tsunami warning passed. 3 cruise ships off the coast all raised their anchors in case they needed to head to sea to lessen the impact of the tsunami. Thankfully nothing needed to be done and all tenders resumed their regular services. #royalcaribbean #jamaicaearthquake #travellingwithbruce
