John Frazer presents and defends a new model for a self-organizing process called autotectonics in which he foresees a future where the natural and artificial environments merge, enabling the built environment to become integral to the very shaping of the planets future.

John Frazer, through his long association with the AA and his work at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, has been a pioneer in the development of intelligent and interactive building design systems and evolutionary design computation for more than 30 years. His work has been extensively published in journals and books including the seminal An Evolutionary Architecture.
