"The Silence and the Sound", an Advent musical composed by Heather Sorenson, will be presented by the Cross Winds Music Ministry Team for worship on Sunday, December 8 at 10am. This cantata begins with the magnitude of the ancient Christmas carol "Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence" as the silence of God for 400 years is experienced in word and music. The work continues exploring the mystery and the majesty of Christ's birth through scripture, carols, and original sacred songs and ending in a celebration of sing along familiar carols.
