We said farewell to Kruger Park Lodge after a brilliant stay and entered the park at Phabeni Gate.
We were greeted with a pack of wild dogs as the winter sun rose over the southern parts of Kruger. Soon after we added another lifer to our bird list in the form of a beautiful Barred Owlet.
We parted ways with Rikus’ parents at Afsaal and made our way to Pretoriuskop for the night - enjoying amazing sightings on our way as well as around the camp.
Stay tuned for an EPIC few days in the park filled with a few once-in-a-lifetime sightings!
