The Gospel
God is Holy and needs to punish sin.
Sin produces death and separation from God.
Man is sinful.
Humans, being ensalved to sin, cannot achieve holiness on their own.
God sent Jesus who was perfectly sinless.
Jesus died on a cross to pay the price for our sin. He rose 3 days later, establishing His victory.
Those who trust in Christ are promised eternal life.

The Gospel is the good news that Jesus Christ, righteous and perfectly sinless, died for our sins and rose again, eternally triumphant over all His enemies, so that there is now no condemnation for those who believe, but only everlasting joy. God convicts us of our sins, leading us to repent and confess our need for Him.
We turn from those sins, and place our trust in God and Jesus’s redemptive work on the cross. We become followers of Christ, and He takes our sin and we receive His righteousness.
God gives His Holy Spirit to all who He ordained to believe, and we have hope of
glorification and eternal life in His presence.
