The Bosnian government and the Bosnian Serb army on Sunday (29/10)
exchanged prisoners at Sarajevo airport. Reporters who witnessed
the swap said nine Bosnian soldiers were released in exchange for
10 Serbs. The original deal had been for 10 Bosnians to be freed
in exchange for 11 Serbs. But the Serbs refused to release one
officer and the Bosnians decided to retain one Serb prisoner.
