Before Vision Therapy, Kirsten was struggling overall. She was sucking her thumb; couldn't tie her shoes; had trouble with all sports including ones she loved like dancing, gymnastics, riding a bike, and swimming. Her mother reports that Kirsten could not learn her alphabet and, in general, all learning, reading, writing, math and homework were slow, deficient and behind grade level. Before Vision Therapy, Kirsten just couldn't follow instructions or directions and she had poor memory skills and no recall of details. She couldn't do puzzles.
