Nominated Producer for ROOT Sports NW and
works with corporate clients to leverage
sports conversations in creating business
opportunities, building relationships and
improving communication.
The ATHENA Leadership Award® is awarded to a woman who is honored for professional excellence,
community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and
leadership skills. The ATHENA Young Professional Award® is given to leaders that demonstrate excellence,
creativity, and initiative in their business or profession.
Paula Linnen of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory presented the 2015 ATHENA Leadership Award® to
Toby Bouchey, Broker and part-owner of Windermere Group One. Bouchey is widely regarded not only by the
leaders of her company, but by her peers and the entire community, as a strong, well-respected and visionary
leader. Her distinguished career and her leadership has helped transform our community for the better.
Amy Carrasco of Kadlec Regional Medical Center presented the 2015 ATHENA Young Professional Award® to
Shae Frichette, owner of Frichette Winery. Frichette is very active in efforts to promote the development of
our community and inspire students to follow their dreams. She is a vocal advocate for the American Heart
Associations’ “Go Red for Women” movement and is also fully dedicated to helping promote the Tri-Cities as a
leading destination for wine tourism in the United States.
This year 300 women attended the Women in Business Conference and more than 560 people attended the
Network Tri-Cities ATHENA Awards Luncheon at which time the ATHENA awards were presented.
