World Toilet Day is observed on 19th November globally……to raise awareness about making safe sanitation accessible to all. The theme of this year's World Toilet Day was sustainable sanitation and climate change. On the Occasion Prime Minister Modi said and I quote India has strengthened its resolve to Toilet for All. The last few years have seen an unparalleled achievement of providing hygienic toilets to crores of Indians. It has brought tremendous health benefits along with dignity, especially to our women….Unquote. On October 2nd 2019, all the villages in the 36 States and UTs of India were declared open defecation-free. And for analysing the current status of sanitation in India and the road ahead.
