My Season 13 Playlist on my channel includes ground videos from my summer visits to the nest pasture. There are also four ground videos from early summer (after the cams went off for Season 12), in my Season 12 Playlist. Here are the playlist links, if interested:

Video opens with F23 on the nest, watching to the S. Switch to Cam3 view; M15 is flying in from the S with White Ibis prey. A minute later, an intruder comes into view, circling the nest tree. The intruder leaves view briefly; the behavior of F23 and M15 tell us the intruder is still close. The intruder comes back into view, circling the nest tree again. The intruder leaves view, and M15 takes flight to flush it. M15 returns to the treetop branch, followed in by the intruder. The behavior of the intruder indicates it is most likely there to try to steal prey. The intruder again circles the nest tree before finally leaving view. About ninety seconds later, M15 leaves the nest tree heading E, likely to flush the intruder. M15 quickly returns to the nest tree.
Video switches to the 360 Cam view. M15 arrives with the prey, followed by views of the intruder circling the nest tree. M15 takes flight to flush the intruder. Switch to the Cam1 view with M15 arriving with the prey. We cannot see the intruder on Cam1; however, M15 and F23 react to the intruder. Knowing these behaviors can tell you what is most likely going on when the activity is outside of cam view. M15 leaves the nest tree to flush the intruder, and F23 reacts to M15 returning to the treetop branch (out of view), followed in by the intruder. The views of the intruder do not allow for proper aging; this is an immature eagle.
The last segment of the video is when things have settled. F23 preps the prey, and offers bites to the E's. They do take bites, but already have full crops and are not highly motivated to eat. When done feeding, F23 drags the prey across the nest, then broods. Time stamps below, if interested. Click on any time stamp to advance to that part.
I visited the nest on 12-23-24 and there was a subadult intruder, chased off by F23. Video here: [ Ссылка ]
