Early on Thursday, the criminal and imprisoned former MLA Mukhtar Ansari's associates were targeted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in raids at different Ghazipur district locations. Three places connected to his close associates and family members were the targets of the raids. The action was taken less than a week after the Ghazipur district administration in Uttar Pradesh seized two land plots that were bought with Mukhtar Ansari's illegal earnings. The plots, measuring 1.901 hectares and valued at more than Rs 6 crore, were seized. On Thursday, the homes of Vikram Agrahari, Ganesh Mishra, and the proprietor of Khan Bus Service were raided. Additionally, Ansari's Mohammadabad home is being searched.
