After a wonderful week of spending time with the family on the south-eastern side of the island of Mallorca, it is high time to leave. Things are starting to get dangerous at the anchorage where we stayed the last few days. The wind has shifted and the waves are rolling into the narrow passage. Thanks to the help from on land, we can leave our place unscathed. We move to the other side of the island where we wait for a suitable weather window to return to the mainland. We have agreed with friends from Belgium to discover Barcelona together, so we are again on a tight schedule. Along the way, the wind disappears completely during the night and we decide to put away the sails and sleep for a few hours while drifting in the middle of the sea. After a crossing of 117 Nm and 36 hours we finally arrive in Peñiscola.
