The world in 2008 plunged into an unprecedented economic crisis, creating fears and uncertainties everywhere.

One of these fears was that the gaming industry would suffer from it, causing the quality and quantity beeing affected from it.

Luckily this did not happen, and we had a year full of great games, title releases that kicked off a new breed of games, games that we still play today.
