For me, trekking the tallest free standing volcanic mountain was a dream. I waited for this day for quite some time. Having climbed it was beyond imagination, the day that I begun my trekking safari was awesome, I felt at peace and going through the terrains, the changing landscapes and the clean air I breathed as I was moving from one place to another was just awesome. I still remember every moment, truly, it was an adventure of a lifetime. The day at the summit was special, with the bright lights from the sunrise, it was amazing! Of course it was hard, tiresome and yes, it was worthwhile and I'm proud of every moment. Thank you ZARA Tanzania Adventures!
