A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Yuva Morcha worker was hacked to death at Bellary in Karnataka's Dakshina Kannada district, as per the police reports deceased has been identified as Praveen. The murder took place as Praveen was closing his poultry shop near Bellary for the day when some people came on two wheelers and assaulted him. while expressing deep condolences the Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai has assured the family members of the BJP leader that justice will be served soon in this case. His attackers apparently came on a bike and used a lethal weapon to attack him. Police have also registered a case and have begun an investigation.
