Michael Rosin, the Music Historian for the New Jersey Festival Orchestra, delivers the Pre-Concert lecture for the 2016-2017 Season Finale on May 20, 2017. The works are:

- Variations on a Rococo Theme - Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
- Symphony No.1, the "Titan" - Gustav Mahler
