Yanbu is a hidden gem in the Red Sea. Untouched reefs and massive wrecks exploding with marine life, and divers so scarce you'll be lucky if you spot another dive boat nearby. For anybody able to dive here, don't think twice. Do it.
Algrean Reef: About 15km off the shore of Yanbu is the amazing Algrean Reef, with mind boggling visibility and incredibly diverse marine life. We could easily see corals and fish beyond 50m+ looking down from the dive boat! Massive school of Barracuda was the highlight of our dive.
Ioana Wreck: On June 3rd, 1915, Ioana, on a voyage from Middlesbrough to Montreal with general cargo, was sunk by the German submarine U-19 (Constantin Kolbe). What's left behind is a spectacular wreck with tonnes of marine life. Thousands upon thousands of bright and colourful juvenile fish on the clear blue red sea background makes this a wonderful diving experience.
