Dentex are predators, that love the cold water, here in Mallorca. When the summer ends, and they have finished their reproduction, the waters cool off and those coastal predators come out to hunt. With the arrival of huge schools of squid, the dentex aren't far. In this trip we went out in minus degrees, something I am really not used to, with over 300 days of sun and temperatures that rarely sink below 20°... but catching multiple squid and dentex made the hours of freezing wind on the open sea totally worth it.
