🎅🎅🎅🎅 HELLO AND WELCOME! 🎅🎅🎅🎅
Let's take a relaxing walking tour of OLD TOWN TEMECULA.
Temecula is a city nestled in the southwestern side of
Riverside County in California. 🇺🇸 It is known for its
championship golf courses and prestigious wineries.
Its almost perfect weather all year round makes it a
great tourist destination. One of the best things that
Temecula is known for, besides those hot air balloon
rides, is the OLD TOWN DISTRICT.
Strolling on its main drag is like being taken back in time where Victorian Architecture is apparent and
the Old Western tradition and way of life has come alive again. One could walk up to the Old Train track, the Old Immigration Office, the Old Jail House, The Old Temecula Hotel, and the Emporium, which is to say,
the "Department Store" in those good 'Ol days.
The Temecula Museum is also open for everybody and is
Free of charge! Get to know the origin of this town
and the people that built it from the ground up and
how they made it to what it is today; a first class destination. In fact, Temecula is considered one of the safest city to
live in, in America. Truly, it is a place that has lived up to its name, "Temecula", which means "where the sun breaks through the mist!"
There are tons of upscale bars and restaurants too.
The place, just as during the day, comes alive at night.
It has a vibrant night scene. There are plenty of things to do
like shopping, wine tasting and dining.
Or, one can simply hangout to watch young people have fun at the City Hall's Ice Skating Rink where there are plenty
of seats, and a garden. There are food trucks and food stalls that sell popcorn, hotdogs, tacos and drinks.
Don't skip out the thrift shops and the antique stores.
Grab a souvineer or two from novelty shops like
"The Old Time Photo Shop", "The French Soaps and Fragrances from Provence" , The Old Town House of Jerky"
and the "Olive View Oil & Winery shop" just to name a few.
The "Chaparrel Center" houses some of the cutest novelty
stores and also a Old Western themed Starbucks.
So come on down and visit Temecula and its historic district.
It is only an hour and a half away from Los Angeles,
( 85 miles ) and and hour away from San Diego ( 58 miles).
For Southern Californians, it is a home away from home.
See you there! ✨
