FOLK ENSEMBLE OF KIC "Budo Tomovic"
Founded in 1946, the folklore ensemble J.U. KIC Budo Tomović from Podgorica, Montenegro, has been successfully representing Montenegro through dance and song throughout Europe and the World for 73 years, revealing the richness, variety, and beauty of folklore. The Ensemble's repertoire includes 24 choreographies created by the most prominent choreographers from Montenegro and ex-Yugoslavia. There are original folk costumes for all dances. The Ensemble is a member of the Association of Folklore Ensembles of Montenegro and the national section of CIOFFA and co-organizer of the international folklore festival for children and youth, which is happening every year. The Ensemble works within the Public Institution of the Cultural Information Center "Budo Tomović" of the capital city of Podgorica.
