What the beta community now knows as Windows 1.0 Premiere Edition is not what they once knew a decade ago. The first release of Premiere Edition was actually a modified image of Windows 1.01; it looked and performed nearly exactly like its source. In 2014, however, a BetaArchive user known only by their username, "Alias", shed a definite light on the truth: there existed a real Premiere Edition, and they shared it with the world on that day.
