The great Lithuanian bass Vaclovas Daunoras sings the popular nostalgic song „Kur bakūžė samanota // I‘m missing you, the mossy hut“ written by S. Šimkus (lyrics by P. Vaičaitis) in 1907 in Warsaw.

Kurioje gimiau,
Obelis kur augalota
Ką sodne mačiau?
Kur upeliai platūs, sraunūs,
