There are reports of rebellion in Congress Haryana unit now. Choudhary Birendra Singh has said that if the CM continues to lead the party, he will not contest in the polls. He said: "The party fought the LS polls under the leadership of CM Hooda and lost. I have been telling the leadership that development in the state under CM Hooda has been lopsided.
