Dennis Weaver (1924-2006), aka "Chester", Marshal Matt Dillon's limping deputy from early years of the long-running classic TV Western series, GUNSMOKE (1955-1975) and modern Deputy Marshal "Matt McCloud" on the '70s police drama, MCCLOUD (1970-1977), sings about what he knows best: spying on dancing poultry, when they think no one's looking... this, of course, before a sinister 18-wheeler tried to run him down in Steven Spielberg's DUEL (1971), presumably driven by a vengeful Rhode Island Red.


Preserved on vinyl as a 45 RPM single from Eva Records in 1963.
