These Gouldians were paired up for breeding about 2 minutes before I started shooting this video. The 5 minute video has been edited in sequence and was shot over a 15 minute period. This is the third season these birds have been paired up for breeding and I think they remember each other from year to year.
During the rest of the day they continued their courtship, spent "time" together in the nest box, and the male started building the nest.
