After BJP's promise of the free vaccine in Bihar, a furore has been caused over the same, wherein various states promise free vaccines in an attempt to garner the attention of voters. Delhi's health minister Satyender Jain speaks to Mirror Now and mentions that Delhi's residents have been receiving all vaccines free of cost, which means the COVID vaccine too will not be charged.
Delhi will thus become the first non-BJP ruling state to promise free COVID vaccine. However, Satyendar Jain also added that there is no need to politicize the matters, just like they have been done in Bihar. Delhi was also one of the states to provide free testing of COVID.
