New Delhi, Jan 09 (ANI): Garbage continues to pile up on the road sides corners in East Delhi’s Laxmi Nagar area as sanitation workers of East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC) refused to call off their strike on Monday. One of the residents of Laxmi Nagar area said garbage is piling up since last week. “Not only is the smell a big problem, but there is also a fear of epidemic,” the resident added. The sanitation workers have called for an indefinite strike on Thursday, demanding payment of pending salaries of three months.
