The Bedside Buddy program is among the many favorites. The program is composed of fifteen volunteer teams per week which include a morning, afternoon and early evening shift. Their goal as a team is to visit all inpatient units, ensuring all requests for a buddy visit are met. Our Bedside Buddy volunteers provide many play options through numerous comforting interactions utilizing board games, arts and crafts activities, coloring, reading, and other fun distractions. You will find many volunteers dress up in costumes and funny props during special holidays and celebrations.
