Farmers in India are observing a “Bharat Bandh” on Monday, 27 September, as they mark one year of protests against the centre’s contentious three farm laws. The bandh began at 6 am and will continue till 4 pm today. In both Punjab and Haryana, national highways, link roads and railway tracks have been severally blocked, bringing road and rail traffic to a halt.
