Enjoy the silence from the Delta Machine Tour is an ongoing worldwide concert tour by English electronic music band Depeche Mode in support of the group's 13th studio album, Delta Machine, released 22 March 2013. Following a warm-up show in Nice, France on 4 May 2013, the tour kicked off in Tel Aviv, Israel, and will continue through Europe until late July, culminating in Minsk - the group's first performance in Belarus. A North American tour will follow in late August, beginning in the Detroit suburb of Clarkston, Michigan and culminating in Austin, Texas in early October. The band will perform at the Austin City Limits Music Festival, which in 2013 will be held across two weekends for the first time. A second leg in Europe is planned for the winter, with dates still being confirmed. Among the dates announced are Dublin, Amsterdam, Oslo and Belfast, their first show in Northern Ireland in almost 30 years.
In an interview with lead singer Dave Gahan, he confirmed "ambitious plans" for this tour.[1] In 2014, following the winter leg in Europe, the group are to tour South America, with Asia dates a possibility. An additional leg in North America and festival appearances in Europe in the summer are also planned.
