Indian Air Force releases details on Agnipath recruitment scheme
1. Along with the salary, recruits will receive Hardship Allowance, Uniform Allowance, Canteen Facility and Medical Facility, just like a regular soldier. Travel allowance will also be available.
2. There will be 30 days leave in a year. Medical leaves are additional.
3. In case of death during service (four years), then the insurance cover will be available. The family will get about Rs 1 crore.
4. If disabled in the line of duty, ex gratia of Rs 44 lakh will be given. Also, the full salary of the job left + service fund package will be available.
5. Agniveers will be able to get CSD canteen facility.
